Founder Story
REMA was created by founder and designer Rema Abedkader from a simple frustration: the clothes she wanted to wear were surprisingly hard to find.
She wanted pieces that were comfortable without looking overly casual, modest without feeling limiting, and distinctive without becoming difficult to wear. Clothing that could move through different parts of a woman's life and still feel like her.
What began as a search for better options evolved into designing them herself.
Over the years, REMA has grown and evolved alongside the women who wear it, but the instinct behind every design remains the same: create the piece you keep wishing existed.
That personal approach is still at the heart of the brand today.

Design Philosophy
Every REMA design begins with one question:
Would we genuinely want to live in this?
Comfort is essential, but it isn't enough. A piece also has to drape beautifully, move well, flatter the body, and bring something special to a wardrobe.
That might mean an unexpected silhouette, a carefully placed seam, a waistband designed to sit just right, a hidden pocket, an adjustable detail, or fabric chosen specifically for the way it falls and moves.
We believe the best design often looks simple because the work is hidden in the details.
